Should I use more than one locator?
In
most every situation, you should use only one locator company, although
legally you are free to use as many as you want.
The main reason is simply that every locator generally uses
the same information (database) that all the other locators
use... much like real estate agents selling homes generally
all use the same Multiple Listing Service (MLS) database.
If your locator is working hard and doing a good job, then there would
be little reason to switch or to use more than one locator at the same
time.
However, if your locator is not responding quickly or is not providing the personal service you need, then you should consider using a more responsive locator.
